A View of the Duomo

Commissioned by a dear friend, she requested that I surprise her so I chose to draw the Duomo since Florence is an important place to her. Getting to indulge in the minute details was my favorite part of making this piece. I also enjoyed how it wasn't strictly laid out to match what this view actually looks like. A few bricks and windows are missing, but my hope was that the sketched appearance made it seem as though it was drawn by someone observing the view in person.
